I discovered the Australian duo Angelspit fans of EBM – I asked them for recommendations for metalheads. Angelspit makes a kind of cyberpunk, synthesizers are slain, drum machines and samplers burn tortured as viscous guitars and corruptive beats are added to the mix.
You can get pretty wild at tip here. Angelspit sounds like a mix between parent Mindless Self Indulgence material (think of the debut Tight), Skinny Puppy and KMFDM. Lovers of German industrial & aggrotech this will eat it, though they will also have to get used to the more covert beats. This is for the Summer Darkness gang who like mixing metal guitar frequencies in their electronic music.
