EVOLRADIO.COM REVIEWS ‘THE NEULA SUITE’ (Ice Planet 9000)

“For anyone seeking an escape from the everyday, a soundtrack for deep introspection, or a profound exploration of ambient sound, “The Nebula Suite” strikes me as a compelling offering. The dedication to analogue synthesis and the clear artistic vision rooted in classic sci-fi and electronic music make this a journey I’d recommend taking. It’s out there on double CD, digitally, and on all streaming services, waiting to pull you into its nebulae.”

KICKSTARTING NOW – ICE PLANET 9000’s THIRD ALBUM!

The 3rd album from Angelspit’s DarkAmbient side-project ‘Ice Planet 9000’ drops mid April!
8 tracks, over 2 hours of intricate and evocative Dark Ambient soundscapes.
https://iceplanet9000.bandcamp.com/album/the-nebula-suite

This is an exploration into long form Dark Ambient Music. It is rich, complex profoundly visual. Containing 8 tracks, over 2 hours of music spread across 2 CDs. Accompanied by hand painted celestial sci-fi artwork.
We also have super cool merch – some items are back by popular demand.

The eight tracks vary in length from 8 to nearly 40 minutes. They started as live improvisations – no scripts, going with the flow. It was a completely new and liberating way to write.
The album is designed to be played live – just me and the synthesizers, no sequencers or laptops.
Inspiration came from the 70’s sound of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Steve Roach and Michael Stearns.

NEW TRACK: JESTER’S PRIVILEGE

Angelspit, the Industrial minstrels of mayhem, are taunting their latest track, “Jester’s Privilege”.
Sync-locked cyber beats, neo-90s mechanized basslines with cynical scathing lyrics. It’s harsh, aggressive and will fill you with dancefloor-destroying joy!
The track is available on Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms.

NEW VIDEO: “THE EVENT” (Aerophone Solo by Colfax Mingo)

Combining their massive analogue synth collection to create “The Event”. The track peels back the layers of galactic emptiness with grand soundscapes and rich colors of Colfax Mingo’s Aerophone solo.

Cinematic and Cosmic music inspired by 70’s science fiction, Jean Michel Jarre, Michael Stearns, Klaus Schulze, Vangelis, Ben Frost, Jodorowsky, Chris Foss and Lovecraft.
Created with vintage analogue and modular synthesizers.
