It’s hard to believe that Angelspit has already been going for over 10 years, but with Cult of Fake, it proves that Angelspit is stronger than ever!

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Zoog Von Rock returned to us with Cult of Fake, and what a hell of an album it is! For the sixth outing, it was promised to be a lot more of a dance album than others in the Angelspit catalogue, and it certainly delivers in that respect.

Tracks are filled with harsh stompy dance beats, with catchy hooks and strange, yet genius, progression. Yet, as dance-y as it all is, this is definitely an Angelspit album through-and-through; the trademark recognisable style shinines through, along with it’s aggressive anti-corporate vocals and lyrics. In fact, as much as it treads new ground, it has a very old-school Angelspit feel to it, very reminiscent of the earlier albums.

ANGELSPIT with Special Guests Die Sektor and The Dead Room

Electro Industrial act Angelspit launches their assault on the USA next week!
Supporting Angelspit on this tour will be fellow EBM acts Die Sektor and The Dead Room.
Angelspit have once again re-inventing their live show – this time using manic projections, abrasive UV lighting and live video mashing to create an explosive stage show.
Angelspit will be performing many tracks from their latest album CULT OF FAKE (released through Negative Gain Productions) plus their most requested tracks.

Angelspit Signs with Negative Gain for new album

NGPLogo_New-500Angelspit has signed with Negative Gain Productions at its headquarters in Chicago. The new deal adds Angelspit’s new album,  CULT OF FAKE , to Negative Gain’s already strong roster of bands, including The Gothsicles and Mr. Kitty.

Made popular for its driving industrial sound, Angelspit sees the new partnership as a perfect match. “Negative Gain pushes dance acts with an alternative edge, and our new album will fit right in,” says Zoog Von Rock. Already funded by Kickstarter, the album will receive the widespread push it needs thanks to Negative Gain.

“We are always looking at new ways to add great music to our already diverse roster of great artists,” added Roger Jarvis, co-founder of Negative Gain. “You are going to love this album just as much as we do!”

Cult of Fake is Angelspit’s sixth studio album, due June 6, 2016 through Negative Gain. The album uses the harsh industrial percussion sampled from Angelspit’s early albums, now mixed with club destroying beats. Kickstarted by the fans, Cult of Fake is Angelspit’s first album to focus on dance music without sacrificing its established sound.
