ELEGY IBERICA Magazine (Portugal) interviews Angelspit
With Angelspit we have tried to create music which has a genuine punk edge, in the lyrics, the aggression and the instrumentation. Even though we are largely an electronic band we don't want to write clean music, and these influences have a grungy, dirty edge which we have adopted. We have more in common with Nirvana than Covenant in sound and in concept because we're trying to make aggressive, hell raising turbulent music which reflects our world.

Angelspit : Krankhaus

It seems that the 6/6/06 have not been only the Slayer to to have been sedotti from the idea to let out just the album (reference that resorts and appears clear in the closing trace, Wreak Havoc), a day in which many satanisti of varied nature they will have made festivity. From the other head of the planet, the Angelspit indeed has delivered to starves you of industrial the more trasgressiva and irriverente their Krankhaus. Us it could not be waited for various oltretutto, inasmuch as their disc has been introduced with tempting words: “to here is the beat that will make you sin…”. Disc that however not ago that to confirm it upgrades them explosive of this band Australian, already perceived in their previous Nurse Granade.

Piaccia or less theirs look a little fumettistico one (seem come outside from followed imprecisato of Akira!) and little cyborg (to make to even impallidire Dolce and Gabbana), they deliver a detonating mixture to the dancefloors in which the divertimento it is wonderfully commisto to the trasgressione (begun to boycott the dances of group from the retrogusto popolarrevanscista…). Indeed on their aspect, it is difficult not to deny that conserve one some logical coherence with their music - characterized from it vocalizes sour, abrasive guitars, beat distorted, both between the sadist and the grotesque one. Lyric (and the images) seem teatrali rappresentazioni with realistic pretensions of medical experimentations with a lot of blades that rip the meat, of pazzoidi doctors (“the doctor is iiiiinsane!” urlano Zoog and Destoyx - the section, electrical worker, nom de guerre of the algid and likeable child from the eyes to almond in Vein Quarry) seghe from butcher, lettini operating that becomes theatre of atrocious tortures. Obviously the references go picked in the references more than in the “concretezza” of the images, like often understood in industrial, while for the how much care other kind of references (those stilistici) vaguely remember us the last KMFDM and the Nine Inch Nails di Fragile. For who it loves to give to the labels to music (operation to which sometimes it is not escaped nearly for inevitabilità of the fate!), considering the easy “ballabilità” of grooves velenosi of the Angelspit and the their aspect that space leaves the misunderstandings little, someone would not hesitate to machiarli like ennesima band the GothicHype, but the way with which impatta music us it decidedly seems little gotico and more neighbor to images and sintassi of sure screziature of the culture Cyberpunk. Many the traces that would be lend more to circuits trade them less and underground: from the cited Vein Quarry to Make Your Sin, from Juicy (sometimes they come in mind for the use of the voice even the Audioslave) to the allusive Scars and Stripes (which more shoehorn vision than sure affection for the famous USA flag in this historical period… someone would have to designate them like the most productive butchers of the world). And on purpose of “patriotism”, onlooker the incipit of Wolf (in which a voice in Italian - our language is not then therefore out to how much seems recites famous proverbio “the lupo loses the hair but not the defect”!!!).
