ELEGY IBERICA Magazine (Portugal) interviews Angelspit
With Angelspit we have tried to create music which has a genuine punk edge, in the lyrics, the aggression and the instrumentation. Even though we are largely an electronic band we don't want to write clean music, and these influences have a grungy, dirty edge which we have adopted. We have more in common with Nirvana than Covenant in sound and in concept because we're trying to make aggressive, hell raising turbulent music which reflects our world.

ANGELSPIT - KRANKHAUS (Angelspit)
Best Release according to DOSE#1

As thick, powerful and vibrant as Skinny Puppy's Process. Will be as legendary as well. Australian mega-powerhouse project ANGELSPIT debut material packs several punches worth of crossover pleasure. We've seldom heard albums which are equally floor-fillers and zonerun tracks at the same time, but Zoog and DestroyX pull it off masterfully. Sue me guys, but ever wondered why nursery rhymes are that powerful? They have this elementary sense of rhythm and language use that propels your mind onwards and the next thing you know is that your brain keeps counting the beat tickers. Angelspit does this on the industrial level. Tongue-in-cheek lyrics, extremely well produced audio that sounds and feels organic, and a sense of crossoverness that keeps picking the best moments of industrial metal, breakbeat, electro and everything else that keeps you stomping the dancefloor.

They're a pretty deadly combo - they have long months of work behind their product and you really can't deny that. They look awesome, and they're one of the best guys on Earth. Look out for them. They're the new world order.
