I was into the Hardcore scene at that moment and it seemed apt.

?
On the internet, we were talking about zines and stuff. It was dorky.

him ?
He is! Secretly I’m a hardarse bitch.
Who's the most beautiful ?

Do you believe in God ?

I don’t do weed… it’s bad for your memory and
I value my mind a lot.
What do your parents think about
the band and your job ?
They hate it, but that’s to be expected.
Have you ever stolen anything ?
Yeah when I was a kid, but I felt so guilty about it so I returned
it.
Strangest place you've had sex ?
On the space ship. While teleporting…. it was wild.
Have you had many 'groupies' ?
Yeah actually we have, but they mostly go for ZooG. I have a feeling
that I freak people out because less people approach me.
What would you like to be reincarnated
as?
A household cat. I’d be able to sleep all day and get fed
like an emperor… sounds like an ideal existence to me!
Your craziest dream?
I had a really surreal dream where I was holding a mirror up to
my face and seeing that my own head was decapitated. That was pretty
freaky. I also have a lot of dreams about cutting my own hair off
too. I wonder what they mean.
Your worst nightmare ?
Well.. I have a problem because I’m not good at remembering
my dreams. But my worst nightmare in real life is not being able
to be creative and thus not being free. I’d probably die.
What were some of the new ideas
and concepts you went for on Blood Death Ivory?
A corrupt society and the evil nature of man. The cycle of life
in this diseased world.
If you’d have the chance to
shoot a movie based on your lyrics, how would it look and who’d
be the director?
It would be extremely dark, perverse and evil… definitely
a psychological thriller mixed with a bit of horror. I would like
a director like Peter Greenaway to do it… he’s so visually
visceral.
Who's the nicest celebrity you've
met ?
Probably the guys from Placebo, but the people from KMFDM are lovely
too. But the guys from Front Line Assembly are really FUN.
How many copies will Blood Death
Ivory sell ?
Hah… we don’t even know that yet! You’d have to
ask the record label for that info. =)

How did you come up with it?
What? The band name? We stole it from a Sonic Youth Lyric. Do you
mean my nickname? It’s because I shine, and wise old men bring
me gifts...PLUS, we were in New Zealand and this Lady rushed up
to me and said “oh my god, you’re the Lord Baby Jesus”...so
it kinda stuck.

a wacky story about a tin of baked beans, “2001 A Space Odyssey”,
“Fear and Loathing in Las Vagas”, a levitating tea-towel
and a rather large bud...but that was a long time ago.

Malace and hatred that is so strong it corrupts a society. The death
of a community. A culture driven insane by petty jealousy.

It would be dark and fucked up. Kinda Japanese Cyberpunk. The director
would either be Guillermo del Toro or Dan Ollette
