PRAGUE - The City OF ROCK!
holy shit...that was fun...that
was REALLY REALLY fun!!
MY GOD people from Prague can ROCK!
The most brilliant promoter Mirage
was our host for the weekend. Prague is an insanely
beautiful city.
We took the mountain path to avoid
the huge cues at the German/Czech boarder. Everything
in Prague is cheap...really really cheap - Important
things...like beer and vodka and absinthe. After shopping
to "kill our livers", we met two new BRILLIANT
friends named Aci and Har. from The
Royal Dead (Tokyo).
The venue for Electro
Prague Festival was amazing. Let
me make a bold statement in that this was the MOST AMAZING
VENUE WE HAVE EVER BEEN IN! The venue apparently has
5 full time staff who are constantly re-designing and
building the interior of the venue. The walls and ceilings
are covered in robot sculptures - each are covered in
LEDs (refer to video below). The crowd were very friendly,
very brilliant and COMPLETELY ROCKED.
The rest of the weekend was spent
sight-seeing and killing our livers.
HEALTH WARNING:
NEVER challenge 3 Czechs and 2 Japanese to a drinking
game...
Although Har (Lead vocalist from The
Royal Dead) is a very petit lady,
she managed to down more flaming absinthe than the anyone.
Another local custom we were introduced
to was the Czech Light-Sabre duel. This involved a long
drinking straw and constantly bitch-slapping you opponent
with it until they got sick of the game and walked away....I
always won!
