JANUARY 20 - Electro-punk act Angelspit have been commissioned for an exclusive track on the Underworld: Awakening score. Angelspit's track "Sunrise" is featured alongside original motion picture music by composer Paul Haslinger.
"We saw this as an opportunity to try something different," says Angelspit co-founder Zoog Von Rock. "'Sunrise' is dark, hauntingly beautiful yet twisted and insane. The track is a vampiric suicide pact as blood-suckers make love while the sun rises".
The score is available through Lakshore Records on Amazon and iTunes. Underworld: Awakening is now playing in theaters.

ANGELSPIT WELCOMES MATT JAMES AS OFFICIAL ANGELSPIT DRUMMER
Matt James to replace Chris Kling

NOVEMBER 8 - After rousing performances during the 2011 "Let Them Eat Distortion" EU/UK tour; and "All the Rage" USA tour, electro-punk sensations Angelspit have announced Matt James as their newest permanent member.

"Matt brings a slamming and wild feel to Angelspit's live sound. We are excited to get back into the studio and work on new material with him", says Zoog Von Rock of Angelspit.

Matt James originally joined as a live drummer to cover for original drummer Chris Kling. Kling recently stepped down as Angelspit's drummer, giving James his support and blessing.

ANGELSPIT TO TOUR THE UNITED STATES
Band to support Blood on the Dance Floor

With their stellar European tour only just completed, electro-punk act Angelspit have announced their Fall 2011 tour of the United States, supporting alternative/electronic act Blood on the Dance Floor.

“Every gig on this tour is all ages,” says co-founder Zoog Von Rock, “so we can finally play to our younger supporters and unleash all out war with our new five piece line-up.”

Angelspit will tour in full five-piece format. The tour, with supporting act New Years Day, will begin October 14 in San Diego and encircle the U.S., wrapping up November 23 in Tuscon.

“We are so thrilled to be able to bring our intense full band sound to new cities and audiences,” says cofounder Destroyx.

ANGELSPIT RELEASES “TOXIC GIRL” VIDEO
Content deemed too explicit for public consumption
Angelspit have released a new video for the song “Toxic Girl,” off the band’s latest album Carbon Beauty.
Due to its explicit content, the “Toxic Girl” video, directed by Tamas Mesmer, is considered For Mature Audiences Only. Angelspit’s YouTube channel will host a censored version of the video to comply with the content regulations.
Angelspit hopes to release a complete, uncensored version of the video in the near future.
